![]() ![]() Ice Elemental: *approaching Occavatra* I’m sure I can answer that question. *He takes a step and looks ahead and sees a manhole cover.* Why would there be a manhole if there’s no water flowing? He delivers another blow at a siren before darting toward the door, opening it, quickly closing it behind him, and hears the sound of banging wood.) That’s something I’m also going to get tired of. Panting, Occavatra sees a closed door in his general direction. Unfortunately, the cold begins to weigh heavily on Occavatra and some of the sirens look like they are not giving up just yet. ![]() (He ends up fighting the sirens from room to room for about an hour and the cold bothers him a little less because of the exercise he is getting from the battles. *His eyes widened as three more sirens approach him.* Oh, snap. *He goes through the door and closes it behind him.* Phew, that was close. Occavatra: *furiously* Let me GO!!!! *launches a fireball that burns the siren and he breaks free before opening the door.* I’m not a dog! I don’t come when I’m called. Siren 2: NO!!!!! You are not leaving me, you pretty boy!!!! STAY!!!! *He tries to leave, but the Siren grabs his hand violently.* Not when the songs in the floor start to irritate me and with the freezing cold. *She tries to touch Occavatra’s face, but with the thought of Irene on his mind, he backs away before the siren could touch him.* *gets enticed by Occavatra’s face.* I’d feel much better and warmer if you stay down here with me. *looking at Occavatra* How did you get it to light up like that? Siren 2: *sits down and puts her hands near the fireplace.* You brought something we haven’t felt in a long time. If I can warm up by your flames, it can make me feel so alive. Siren 2: Flattery does little to thaw my cold heart. Siren 2: My voice is hoarse and I can’t sing for a while. Occavatra: You’re not going to sing, are you? Siren 2: I notice a flicker of hope in that flame. *He takes deep breaths as he continues to shiver and one Siren takes notice of him.* Occavatra: I feel like warming up in this cold environment. *He walks in front of it and uses some of his nose breath to heat it up. *spots a fireplace in the center of the upper wall.* Thank goodness. *walks away as they keep banging on the door.* I’m still freezing like crazy. Occavatra: *shrugging* I don’t know adventurers put up with you girls anyway. After he defeats seven sirens, he runs toward a room and closes another door and somehow, the ice locks it and the Sirens bang on the door, yelling at Occavatra for not treating them like ladies.) ![]() Knowing that proper behavior etiquette won’t save him this time, he attacks the charging Sirens and slashes at them in order to keep them from singing. The next thing he knew, Sirens in the room where charging right towards him. (He opens a door and closes it behind him. *feels very glum* I was so unfortunate when that happened. Water Thief Ghost: You get used to it, Warrior, if it doesn’t kill you first. I’ll go see if I can do something about this karaoke problem and maybe find a heater. If this Ice Elemental is destroyed, I can be free from this wretched curse. Water Thief Ghost: You don’t know my pain. Hearing the same song over and over again does get very annoying, but I can’t picture you listening to it repeatedly for years and years. *frustrated* Why did I crawl into this place and let the Ice Elemental curse me? ![]() All I ever hear is the sound of sirens singing their sopranos too high. It has been a while since I have seen something so comedic occur down here. *But suddenly, he slipped on one part of the ladder that has ice on it, fell, and landed on the ground, which caused the Water Thief Ghost to chuckle.* Gee, thanks for thinking I did that on purpose. He gripped the ladder and every step he took, he closed his eyes and hoped the cold wouldn’t make him slip and fall.) The moment he entered the secret passageway behind the bookshelf, he shivered like crazy. (Occavatra couldn’t ask for a better windbreaker other than his own armor. ![]()
